By implementing both an ERP system and Field Service simultaneously, the groundwork has been laid to systematize and structure work with numerous installations – enabling proactive work with both sales and service.

This is how CEO Søren Hansen from Bentax describes the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Field Service, explaining the work process he and the project managers went through, together with an external consultant and 9altitudes (formerly Bredana Solutions).

"First, we worked with our external consultant to streamline all our internal workflows. From there, we could identify where the digital systems needed to assist us. This made it easier to put the task out for tender and provided us with very concrete and professional grounds to make the decision on the right system and the right partner."

9altitudes has many years of experience in implementing ERP systems, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service is also a strength at 9altitudes, which made it a natural professional match. However, it is not always enough for a supplier to have the right products on the shelves, as for Bentax, it is essential to create long-term partnerships with suppliers.

Proactive rather than reactive

At Bentax customer service, service and procurement for the many coffee machine installations across the country are managed. It is a large task with so many installations that need servicing on time and many technicians to be coordinated based on service intervals and route planning.

“It is important for us to be able to serve our internal customers – the technicians – because they are the ones out there meeting customers all day. With Field Service, we are now always one step ahead and can work proactively on our installations rather than being reactive,” explains Tanja Lindberg Frederiksen, Customer Service Manager at Bentax.
